A Neighbor-Powered Crew, Not A Big Organization
Spirit For Change Now started with a few neighbors picking up trash on a Saturday morning. Today we've adopted two sites Roosevelt Park in District 3 and the Los Gatos Creek Trail in District 6 by Blackford Elementary, and we're still showing up, month after month.
Our Story
How It Started
2023
A Single Cleanup
Ten neighbors met at Roosevelt Park with trash bags borrowed from home.
2024
Officially Adopted
We formally adopted Roosevelt Park and expanded to the Los Gatos Creek Trail.
2026
100+ Neighbors Strong
Monthly cleanups now draw over 100 regular volunteers across both sites.
